Iceberg
Characteristics
This lettuce becomes unmistakable due to its rounded shape. It has green leaves which gradually become clear when approaching the trunk. It is a rumpled lettuce with a round, large and crunchy leaf that forms a compact and robust head. Its flavour is soft, pleasant, fresh and watery. The heads are compact and hard, more or less rounded also according to the variety. It is an ideal lettuce to serve cut as garnish or in cocktails.

It was called Iceberg because of its resistance to cold. It has a high content of potassium and is a safe product due to good management and control of its cultivation.
